Visual Investigation: Violence in the Backyard of Nasser Hospital
An open-source visual analysis links multiple violent videos to the courtyard of Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, filmed after the ceasefire.
In the week following the ceasefire in southern Gaza, Hamas intensified its internal campaign across the Gaza Strip targeting critics, opponents, suspected looters, and alleged collaborators.
Several violent clips began circulating online, showing Palestinians severely beaten by Palestinian armed militants in an unidentified location.
Through cross-verification of objects, background elements, structural features, and precise geolocation analysis, it can be determined that the beating scenes were filmed inside the Nasser Hospital compound in Khan Younis.
Analyzed Footages
(Warning) The analyzed footages are graphic and contain scenes of violence.
The original violence-videos were published by the Telegram channel إمسك عميل (link: Amsak 2024) - with over 200 K subscribers that describes its focus as “exposing agents, thieves, bandits, and merchants in the Gaza Strip.”
Video 1 – Published 18 Oct 2025 (link) — shows violence against a man accused of praising Donald Trump during the war, allegedly for supporting humanitarian distribution centers.
Video 2– Published 17 Oct 2025 (link) — depicts militants assaulting the owner of a tobacco stand.
Video 3 – Published 16 Oct 2025 (link) — shows severe violence against a Palestinian man.
The videos were published with affiliation to Arrow (Sahm) Unit, Hamas-affiliated internal security unit, established and focused to deal with internal security issues and internal threats.
Reference Videos
For the current analysis, Videos 4 and 5 were used as reference material to establish spatial accuracy and verify the continuity of visual anchors across all scenes.
Videos 4 and 5, were published by the PalPostN channel (video 4, video 5) on 13 October 2025, same week the violence footages were shared, during the prisoners-for-hostages exchange ceremony held in the courtyard of Nasser Hospital.
On that day, 20 Israeli hostages were exchanged for more than 250 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences and approximately 1,700 Gaza war prisoners of war.
In these reference videos, the camera slowly scans the rear yard of the hospital, documenting the ceremony attended by militants, released prisoners, and staff.
The wide, continuous shots reveal several stationary objects that also appear in the violent clips analyzed earlier.
Video 1 - Beating of Munir Hammad Salam Al-Ayyadi (منير حماد سلام العيادي)
The footage shows the beating of Munir Hammad Salam Al-Ayyadi, reportedly accused of “drug trafficking” and praising Trump.
After the assault, Munir is placed on a stretcher and taken away by armed Palestinians.
This part can be geolocated to 31.3463442, 34.2913865 (google maps link), inside the Nasser Hospital Complex in Khan Younis.
The background clearly shows the Mubarak (Maternity) Building of Nasser Hospital, while the movement of the group begins in the shadows of the Specialized Kidney Diseases Support Center nearby.

Although there is no direct visual evidence that the beating itself occurred inside the hospital compound, this video contains several anchor elements - including distinctive vehicles and courtyard features that link it to Videos 2 and 3, confirming that it was also filmed entirely within the hospital perimeter.
Anchors
Two main anchors identified in this footage will be used for further correlation:
A broken ambulance vehicle, stationary throughout the scene.
An orange-and-blue-colored storage box visible nearby.

This identification was confirmed by comparison with Video 4 (will be provided below), recorded during the same period in the Nasser Hospital yard at the prisoner-for-hostage exchange ceremony.
That reference video provides the broader visual context, identical structures, vehicles, and vantage points, allowing all four clips to be conclusively placed within the hospital compound.
Video 2 — Beating of Ahmed Zuhair Abu Zaid (أحمد زهير أبو زيد)
This footage is extremely violent, showing the severe beating of Ahmed Zuhair Abu Zaid.
The clip provides very limited background detail, but several key visual cues appear: the lower part of an ambulance vehicle, its distinctive wheels, the Arabic “أسعاف” (Is‘aaf) inscription meaning “ambulance”, and the fuel inlet on the side panel.
These elements are sufficient to identify the location and the same vehicle previously documented in Video 1.
The front and rear wheel patterns, nearby stone arrangement, and vehicle type based on the fuel inlet position all match precisely with the ambulance visible in that Video 1 footage.
This analysis confirms that Ahmed Zuhair Abu Zaid was beaten beside the same broken ambulance, within the Nasser Hospital compound in Khan Younis.
Video 3 — Beating of Eyad Hisham Hassan Qashta (إياد هشام حسن قشطة)
This footage, like the previous one, is extremely violent, showing the deliberate beating of Eyad Hisham Hassan Qashta, apparently aimed at breaking his legs.
The clip contains very few environmental details, but two distinctive objects stand out:
A truck with a blue rear back (cargo).
The same orange-and-blue-colored box visible in Video 1.

While these two objects alone are not enough to determine the exact filming spot, they clearly connect Video 1 and Video 3 to the same general location.
This identification becomes conclusive when cross-referenced with Video 4, recorded during the same period in the Nasser Hospital courtyard.
That reference footage shows both the blue-back truck and the orange-blue box—along with the ambulance seen in previous videos—within the same yard, allowing all three violent clips to be geolocated precisely inside the Nasser Hospital compound.
Videos 4 & 5 — Reference Footage by PalPostN (13 October 2025)
As mentioned above, both reference videos provide a wide view of the hospital courtyard filmed during the 13 October 2025 prisoner-exchange ceremony, allowing for precise comparison of background structures, vehicle positions, and previously identified visual anchors including:
the broken ambulance vehicle,
the truck with the blue cargo bed, and
the orange-and-blue-colored storage box positioned nearby.
For clarity, the relevant moments from Videos 4 and 5 have been extracted and attached below.
These segments show the key angles of the hospital courtyard used for geolocation and visual comparison.
The attached highlighted screenshots illustrate the correlation between the visual anchors identified in Videos 1 and 3 and those visible in the reference footage.

All these objects are clearly visible under the Specialized Kidney Diseases Support Center, at coordinates 31.3463625, 34.2912651, within the Nasser Hospital compound in Khan Younis.
It provides final spatial confirmation linking Videos 1–3 to the same exact courtyard area of Nasser Hospital.
Summary
The analysis originated from Video 2, where the barely visible “Ambulance” (أسعاف) marking on a nearby vehicle suggested proximity to medical services, possibly even a hospital compound.
Subsequent examination of other footages established that the scene was indeed filmed within the Nasser Hospital compound, beneath the Specialized Kidney Diseases Support Center.
By correlating visual anchors including a broken ambulance, a blue-back truck, and an orange-blue storage box and through precise geolocation and cross-verification with reference footage, it can be determined that this specific corner of the hospital compound was likely used by Hamas’s Arrow Unit as a base during its pre- and post-ceasefire campaign.

Great job!! 👏🏽
